Hi i have a 2002 grandam se and my service engine light turns on alot. I usually reset the entire car by disconnecting the battery. The light turns off but a few weeks later it turns back on. Does anybody know why this light turns on? Oh one other question i have been surfing the net trying to find out a name of the plastic part im looking for. Its black and below the bumper. It blocks the brush and you can usually hear it when you go over a cement block when you park. Anyone know what its called?
Thank you
Thank you

The service engine light you can have scanned at a local auto parts store most of the time. They can tell what the light is on for. Usually i believe its emissions might have a o2 sensor out or your cat is not working right....ETC. The black thing is a air dam to help force air up to the air intake...
hope that helps

The part with the quasi air dam is called:
Panel, Lower Radiator Mounting Panel
old GM Part # 22602298
new # 22706966
GM List Price $43.62
Although it has the air spoiler it holds up the radiator and is all one piece.
