Stonger Synchros??

Ok i'm thinking of rebuilding my tranny. Ok so do they have high performance or stronger synchros then stock? If you know a place that sells them send me a link please! THanks!

The next step up would be a "dog box" like what is used in rallying. They have dog synchros (as opposed to conical) and often have straight cut gears. You do not want straight cut gears on the street. If you've ever watched race cars on TV you'll notice form the in car shots the loudest thing yu can hear is the gear box.
A stock gear box will be fine as long as you don't abuse it. My gear box has gone many many miles and I like stirring the stick quite a bit. I just don't shift faster than the box wants to.

Yeh thats what i'm sayin. No matter what i'm gonna be racing my car and i want something to handle my tranny pretty strong. Is there any other way to get ur tranny stronger and handles the abuse?

Well, the might B16a1 series box is a wonderful thing, it actualy shares many parts with later B series boxs.
You could try synchros from an ITR, or a GSR teg, but you might find they are actualy the same as what you have.
Or even, try swaping the complete gear set from an ITR into your current box. Im pretty sure the early model ITR's have the same shaft spacing, but I know the later ones had the shafts spaced further apart to increase strength. (the box on the H22 is based on the B series box, with wider spaced gear shafts, and a differt bolt pattern to fit the H series engines, and this box was then used by Rover with some modification on the Rover K series engines).
But otherwise, no your screwed. Quite simply Im not aware of anyone who has gone to the trouble of building stronger parts for Honda Manual G/boxs, and if there are any out there they will be VERY EXPENSIVE.
Besides which its not the synchro you worry about breaking, but the gear itself, or the casing, or a shaft.
