Number 1: Should I get it.
He wanted 1500, I got him down to 1000. Its pretty clean, exterior needs work, he told me he's got new heads in it, but not professionally tuned. But I am gonna swap it out anyway, B18 from hmotors. Its an LS non vtec, 5speed.
I've been looking for an ef hatch, cant find them anywhere =/
Help me out guys

Well, all my friends are giving me "ideas" of what to do IF IF I buy this teg. Such ideas/plans are "put a b20 long block on it, switch it to obd1, and then put a b16a or another vtec head on it". Or put the gsr motor, or an xsi motor.
Now, I know alot about motors and what not, but what is the best setup for a teg. I think I may get this btw

look into the h22 motor. its the honda prelude 2.2 liter i was going to swap it into mine but i'm just going to buy a new car altogether the motor puts out 200 hp and around 161 tq (not sure but i think its around there) trust me that engine in an integra (around 2500 lbs) will fly. and i think the engine only costs around 2 grand and its not tough to find either

Basically, I've changed my mind again...I want an eg hatch again...for 2 reasons, they are lighter and I've had my mind set on one for a while. I want to find like a 93 Hatch, and throw a gsr (b18c1 (i believe) in there). Now that will be fast, and the b18 is only like 2800, which will take me a while but eh. The other thing is that if I get an h22 I would also have to upgrade the front suspension (or whole suspension at once), and also upgrade brakes, plus the h22 needs alot of maintenance, so I may stick to my plans with the b18, right now the only sites I am using for swaps are
hmotorsonline.com
jazzproparts.com
Also, here is what my friend's mechanic had to say about the h22
"Part of it is Weight, you need to beef up the suspension to support that motor. Other issues would include the lack of room to work on the engine in that engine bay especially wanting to keep A/C and power steering, Parts are expensive for that motor, it is not that efficient of a motor."
Then here is what he said about the b18
"GSR is almost same amount of work and number of parts. HOWEVER, I would HIGHLY reccommend this swap. you can expand upon the motor, parts are moderately priced and easy to find, very efficient motor, and reliable. Cost will run appriximately $4700-$4900 depending on whether any existing hoses and parts not related to the swap{radiator, vacuum hoses, charcoal cannister, etc.} in the vehicle currently are up to saftey standards. Always good to buffer an extra $200-500."
So, yeah, but that Cost for the gsr will be comming down, as that was my friends mechanic way out in cali, if I do get a swap, it will be my dad, myself, and my dad's mechanic friend greatly helping us.

Well, I found an ek hatch, about an hour away from me, I think that would be alot easier to put a b18c into there. No pics though, I found it on craigslist, gotta get in touch with the guy first off.
