Greddy Type RS BOV help

Well I got some crazy big T-bolt clamps that work perfect and HKS couplers. No more flying pipes off the intercooler when I hit boost. Now I have another question. My BOV has a screw on top as most of you know SOFT and HARD. OK, i can hear the BOV whistling at very low boost maybe less then 1 pound so I know its leaking. Well I looked at it since I never really adjusted it and it was very loose and loud :). But I was woundering how much should I screw it to hard ? I mean how am I suppost to know when its not leaking ? Any one with Type-RS can post any pics of how much they have screwed the screw in?

Thanks

It's different for every car, but here is the way I have always done it.

Start by tuning it half a full turn at a time. Then go drive the car, get it to boost to mid-level boost, around 10psi and let off suddenly. Make sure you still hear the "psshh" sound. Then tighten it half a turn again. Do the same thing. Eventually instead of hearing a "psshh" sound you will hear a "flutter" sound, once you heaer that, loosen it half a turn to where it was right before your last adjustment. That will be the tightest setting you can have without it fluttering. If it flutters a bit at full boost, then release another half turn.

A kid that lives across the street drives a SRT-4. His BOV flutters when he shifts, I was woundering why it does that.

He might have a SSQV, which sort of has a fluttering sound. If it is actually fluttering, then he is surging the crap out of his turbo......
