Ok i'm new to these forums.
Here is what happened i'm trying to get a 1999 zx2 manual my sister gave me ready to sell it has 180k miles only has had a new tranny. This weekend after digging around at the junkyard for a few hours getting some random cosmetic parts. On my way home I started losing acceleration. I was cruising at 65mph and it just started dropping in speed and the more i accelerated the more vibration. I pulled over and it died now it wont start. It will turnover, it is getting spark, it is getting fuel. So I've done multiple things. Now i'm at the point to where i need a shop manual anyone know where i can get a .pdf file for free. Also I need to know how to check the timing. Also is there any other car that I can use besides that year and model that i can use for parts ie. ECU and coil packs. Any help would be appreciated.

Try your local library for a repair manual.
Some schools and libraries subscribe to online databases that can be accessed through their websites from home if you have a student or library card number.

depends on the year early or late 99.
if its late 99....and pcm/coil from a 99=03 zx2 will work

similar thing happened to me... iin my case...it was the timing belt and the pulley also needed replacement. i took my 98 zx2 to a shop to get that done... since i needed to get my car back in operation ASAP.
