I thought you guys should see this one too. I got quite the kick out of it. One finger powerslides! Ahhhh I want an Evo! I thouht it was funny when he was bitching about its problems like the stiff clutch, tires, and the 30mph 5th gear pull. Of course its going to be slow at 30 mph in 5th gear. And when you powerslide every corner like that, of course you arent going to get shit for milage on the tires. And bitching about the "gigantic turbo" lag! Oh man thats funnny. He cant take the minscule lag from turbo the same size as an Evo III 16g :lol:! What would he do with Kevin's old GSX or E-Klip's gt42r powered car? Freakin amazing though. How the hell would someone get a job like that?

I don't think the higher end evos use 16g's.

However that is bhp numbers so it is possible, but I doubt it.

Well, 400 hp is 400 crank hp, at 20% drivetrain loss, thats 320 whp and 340 whp on 15% drive train loss. 320-340 whp is more than doable on an Evo III 16g which is basically what a Evo 8 VIII 16g is.

FQ's are made in the UK not Japan. The FQ400 is about $55k in USD, and I don't think it has the stock turbo. And if you look at Top Gear's lap times, the FQ400 is a second slower than the Lambo. But still quicker than a lot of other super cars. The "negatives" of the Evo in that video were most likely exagerated for entertainment purposes.

Yeah, those times are one driver, one run, and different conditions. I wouldnt put much stock in them. Still sweet though, I think after college I am going to buy myself a gratuation present of an Evo 8.

The only way your going to able to afford a graDuation present of an evo 8 is if it is graTuitous! (some people might get that)
