Sometimes when i let off the gas pedal and then give it gas again the pedal is hard to push like it's stuck or something, i actually have to push it hard to get it to move. It usually is like that when i first drive my truck each day and then it does it a couple more times. Does any have this problem or know how to fix it or what is causing it

It's normally caused by carbon build up in the throttle body. The carbon causes the butterfly to stick closed. Just get some throttle body cleaner and clean out the bore of the throttle body so that the butterfly closes on to a clean surface.

Do I have to take the trottle body off to clean it, will it hurt anything to spray down the bore

no, just the airbox tube up to the top where you can see the butterfly, looks like a giant 1 bbl carb, but is the air butterfly. also spray the outside where the cables and spring on the right/passenger side of the intake. it will be hardto start after, but it will run, rough at first, or you can di it while running, just run the rpm's a little and spray in bursts, and keep it running of it sputters. you'll probably get a check engine, but when all is re-assembled and the cleaner is run thro, it should clear. don' forget to re connect the plugs on the air tube from the box to the top of the intake. been there, done that.....:icon16::icon16::icon16:
