What is the stock inlet size of the mufflers?

Any suggestions on which mufflers sound the best (and not "ricey") and add the most horsepower

1 7/8" inlet 2.25" outlet. Try Flowmasters they sound good and aren't that expensive for what you get.

I don't personally have any experience with them, but (ironically) I've heard flowmasters aren't that great for flow. Check out Magnaflow or vortex...

I was thinking about going with the Dynomax Super turbos. They sound good and they are inexpensive

What is the stock exhaust pipe size before the y?

I have the 40 series Flowmasters and I think they sound great for a V6. I paid $120.00 for 2 of them on ebay with free shipping. Everyone who has heard it, likes it. A couple people said it sounds like a V8. I think it sounds like a V8 only at idle though. I also had a hi-flow magnaflow cat put on at the same time. It feels a little bit more peppy then it did. Hope this answers something.

I agree that the flowmasters sound great at an idel, but they seem to make a whine at higher RPMs. I've heard the dynomax's and they seem to keep the deep sound better at higher RPMs. Plus I can get 2 Super Turbos for the price of one 40 series.

Does anyone know the exhaust pipe diameter before the Y?

2.25 inches from the cat to the Y.

How long have you been trying to sell the mufflers. You are aware we have a Car Parts for Sale forum you can use. See link below:
