I've been waiting for this model for a while now, and now I finally got it! As usual, Kyosho has done a very nice job on both interior and exterior details (engine details, rims, dashboard, seats, etc)and the overall feel of this model is top notch in quality! I highly recommend everyone to get this if you haven't already done so, it would fit into anyone's collection nicely. It is a MUST for any Audi collector! Enjoy the pics...

Yea!!! Mine is on it's way and can't wait!!! The only think I'm still not clear on is, this is just a SUPER DUPER A8 and not A8L right?

yup, you are correct. This is just A8 and not A8L. Actually I don't think they even make a distinction between the two cuz there is not any A8L in 1/18. I could be wrong though....

@diecasfan isn't this the dealer edition? umm diecast fan your pics don't really seem to capture the essence of the car for some reason. i think it's cuz you took the pics next to the window and the car's paint is really glossy so all i see are reflections.

No, this is just the regular edition. I got it (for only $55) instead of dealer edition because there isn't much difference (only box, tag are different I think) between the two and its quite a bit cheaper than the DE. As for the pic quality, yeah I did have problems with lighting and indeed these aren't great and there are a lot of reflections.:frown: I'll take more (and hopefully better)pics and will post them later.

Are you talking about real cars now? I'm not so sure. Anyway, A8L or not, all I know is..... it won't make much difference on a 1/18! :D hehe

The motormax one isn't so bad. The panel fitment(on all the pics I've seen of it so far)are shitty. Does it have carpeting?

EvilEclipse

no carpet

Yeah, I've got the MotorMax one... Do they have a website, because all of they're cars are cheap, so I was wondering where they're from. I got mine in Woolworths, though.

Its silver, like the first one.:cwm27:

I didn't know Woolworths still existed. That place used to rock, when it was around here. My WalMart carries Motormax, but no A8. Bastards.
