jumping idle

My Jeep 2000 idle is jumping from 500 to 1000. An engine light came on with the code p0208. It is also jerks sometimes when I decelerates. How do I adress the code p0208 ((injector #8 Control Circuit)?
I would appreciate any advise.

p0208 = Injector #8 Circuit. Injector #8 output driver does not respond properly to the control signal = a shorted or failing #8 fuel injector
