Just Finished!!!

i just finished renaming/editing the tag information on all of my music. about 30 gigs worth. took me about a week to do it all. i took breaks at work to work on it. one of the most tedious things i've done in a while.

It's not a bad time to do it, especially if you're planning on upgrading to Vista. One of the new features is Search Folders, which searches a file's meta data, so having a useful description is neccesary, but it lets you arrange, sort and file your data like never before. For example, you could have a search folder for genre "Rock" or artist "Metallica" and all your files with that tag in the meta data will show up in the search folder, and also when ever any new files are added with relevant meta data, they will show up in the search folder too.
