I have a 99 red z24 and i am going to put on a new body kit, f1 fenders, and cf hood. Im going to get the whole car repainted because the paint everywhere is bad. Should i stick with red so I save money or should I go black or orange? I heard that color changes like that can really add up the price. What should i do?

depends on how much you want to spend and who you can find to do it around there. take it to a few shops and get some quotes. anything different rather than the orginal is going to be expensive unless you know people

macco can paint the outside of your car for as cheap as 300 bucks, and door sills, trunks, and other parts that arnt visible until you look for them cost extra...:)

Obviously it's gonna cost more to change the color, unless you want an orange/black car with a red engine bay, red door sills, and red trunk interior. Doi.

yes thats the problem. like cavlcd said, you can get a paint job fairly cheap but it wont cover everything that should be painted. my guess is to get a whole new color on the car and to have the engine bay and all jams and shit like that painted, its going to run you at least a couple grand.

This is an unanswerable question. Someone could say anywhere from a $50 rattle can job to a $5000 show room quality inside and out job. It all depends on your area shops or if you can get connected or if you got the money for it.

Stay away from Maaco, their quality is like ebay products. With a paint job is where you really get what you pay for. I am still enjoying my sticker shock that i have to get my entire car repainted. Since we all know your 15.. just get your bumpers painted to match. I'm looking at 3-4,000 to have the body kit removed and painted off the car, paint all the doors inside and out, rocker pannels, remove all the glass from the windows and get every since nooke and cranny, fixed the spots in the door seams that are starting to corrode, and basically make the whole car look new again. Ya gotta pay to play...
