Renault Clio Warning Lights?

Two warning lights keep appearing on my clio? . It started a couple of days ago when the car wouldn't start and was then very sluggish when it did - a warning light for an electrical fault was displayed. Then for 48 hours its been fine. This morning it wouldn't start again and when it did I couldn't get the car to drive over 30 mile an hour / 3000 revs? I have just gone to it now and it started and is driving fine again - apart from the warning light for "toxic fume" is displaying all the time? Any suggestions much appreciated.:banghead:

Had the same problem turned out to be the coils and i also ended up changing the TDC sensor you might also find that after fixing this you still get a light as some ECU on cars will hold the fault in its memory even if fixed and needs to be conected up to a fault reader to clear the faults from memory

I Had the same problem, That Toxic Fume light is the sensor in the Exhuast that detects unburnt Fuel. Check the sensor is working right if it is there could be a problem with your throttle body or coils. If you need to interrogate the ECU to investigate/Delete fault codes you can get a good code reader from www.k-tecracing.com
