i'd have to say, a V8. :D
I dunno.. one of the ABC12 motor deals from [H]onda...
something with Vtec i'd guess maybe a Integra Type R cam.. or something..?
or if you dont want to swap cams cause they cost too much, just pull your old one and bash it with a hammer till you think its good to go...
You best ask this question in the Honda/Acura Forum they'd know.

WTF???
you want to swap out your GSR motor??? Thats a fukkin B18C motor, honda owners use that an the B16a as their basis for building quick imports.Only other motor beside the B18C is the B18c5 motor, which is from the Type R.Has 40 or so more HP but you don't have the option of turbo charging.I'd say stick with the GSR motor, 160HP stock, and just save up for the turbo charger.Although i would suggest upgrading to Type R pistons and rings along with Type R headers, just for the fact that they are basicaly designed for racing.
Or if you have alot of money to blow, why not just go and get a Spoon motor???Like a Spoon civic motor, imagine pulling up to someone and racing them with one.You peel out watching your RPM's raise all the way to 15,000 just to hit your powerband....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... ........high reving racing motor.....

heheh and while waiting to get to 15,000 RPM.
the guy with the V8 got to his powerband at 2500 and is long gone.
Just how I see things. Why wait for the power? Get it ASAP. High revs is for road courses. You need low end grunt if you want to do Quarter mile.
Yes I know this magic spork motor must rev fast like no other and must make hellacious power, but i still say get the power sooner.
my .02!

joe bowl you made a mistake on the power out put of the gizzer motor. its output is 175hp. the 160hp is the u.s. spec b16a motor. even the j spec b16a has 170hp on tap. with a 8000rpm redline. and i'll tell you this. after i've been in my friend's crx with a built j spec b16A. that thing rev's fast as hell. i would perfer high reving over torque. since i already have a torquy motor. its power falls flat after it reached its torq peak, when all the honda's already shifted into their higher gear while mine is still takin its sweet ass time revving to the shift point.

hehe when did i say i didnt like road courses?
i like them, wish my car could do it! but she was designed for one thing only, straight line perfomance (even though it handles very well for its age).
Turbos are over played, we need to all start putting JATO rockets on our cars. That'll be cool, much better than Nitrous too just slightly more volitile.

yesss, turbo....mmmmm....
rednecks right, for the street, you may only have an 8th mile, unless your a freeway flyer, a low end powerband is good
