I dont own a cav personaly, i trying to help my little brother with his first car,
but he has a 2001 cav with a 4 speed auto,
i know that all auto transmissions that are made today have electroncs that make the car shift smooth to avoid jerking the people inside around.
My question is that i also know there is a way to bypass a wire or two and cause the trasmission to shift musch faster ( and jerk the passengers around too) does anyone have a how-to or even the wiring diagrams so I can figure it out?

Doing the wiring yourself isn't such a hot idea. Consider picking up an AutoTrans Interceptor from some manufacturuer who I forget, or a B&M ShiftPlus setup.

I just finished rewireing an entire wiring harness for a 88 rx7, i think i can put in a bypass switch, i just need some wireing diagrams for what the factory did, like i said, its not my car, so i dont have access to it at all times of the day, otherwise id go outside right now and do it

And like I said, its an electronic transmission and the quickest and easiest way to do it is with a trans add-on. It will also be reversible, and various interceptors have multiple settings so you're not stuck on "break my neck" shifting all the time. Just make sure you tell your bro that he'll be buying a new transaxle soon enough if you do what you're planning.
Perhaps you think that "electronically controlled" means that it'll shift smoother, what you don't understand is that your transmission WILL NOT WORK properly if you bypass the electronics on it.
If you're gonna do something stupid like what you're talking about, go nuts, I don't have the diagrams and not many will unless you find a GM Shop Manual.
