o2 sensor in the cat.

I have a '96 max with auto. and i was going to gut the cat when i noticed the o2 sensor. will this cause any problems.

worse thing that can happen is that the "CEL" will go on.
I say get a $30 straight pipe and put it on. if you get problems you can also put back your original cat ;)
