Axel and lowering

anyone know a good spot to look up some Axels, id like some high torque axels but id bow to some standards.

also, i have my eibach kit to put in at the same time, and if i remember right i need a kit to install with it to keep my wheels from slanting inwards but for the life of me i cant remember what its called.

ok i found the camber kit to fix my suspension question, but i cant for the life of me find some axels online

alright kool glad i could help. yeah i mean those prices arent too bad.

Go to your local autozone, advance auto parts, pepboys and just get rebuilt ones. You aren't pushing anywhere's near enough HP to need the beefed up ones and your not running slicks. Save yourself the money, the stockers can take up past the 230hp range. Your 2.2 is no where near that. Also you don't need a camber kit for when you lower your car, for the amount in change that occurs is can be taken care of with just a normal alignment.

i want to get the all 4 1.4" prokit from eibach, but from what ive seen from it in stores and pics online the rear springs have a much smaller diameter loop than the front, and when i replaced all 4 struts on my car, all 4 spring sets were the larger diameter that the prokit only provides for the front.

i figured that was for a front strut rear shock setup, so i was gunna get the 1.7" front 2.3" rear drop sportline kit that has all 4 springs in the larger diameter. although i dont want it that low. given the higher drop amount i figured a camber kit might be wise. all of the other kits seem to drop it around 2-2.5 and since ive had good experience with eibach im plannin on sticking with them.

with those drop ratio's do you still advise that the camber kit is not needed?

regards to the axels, the rebuilt ones are cheaper, ($70 with core a piece) but the car only has 40k miles on it and that seems to me to be a bit low to start blowin axels, it sat for awhile while i was working on it and the first week i ran it on the street it blew the passanger side axel so my first thought was to get higher torque/hp rated axels.

I have the Eibach prokit and KYB AGX's on my car, on our j-bodys the front springs ARE larger than the rears. Thats just how they are desgined.. LOL.. have you ever taken a look at your stock springs? The Eibach Sportlines will come the same way.. larger fronts than rears. The lower you go with a drop the more stress you put on your axles, i killed my stock set with dropzone lowering springs.. I guess thats what I get for buying cheap shit which i had to learn the hard way. If you get the prokit i can gurantee you will be happy with it. Its probably the best setup you can get for the money. If i were to every change my suspension i would go with the TEIN SS coil system. But thats it. Oh and still no with the camber kit. You simply just don't need one unless your dropped like 3" plus. But thats insane
