'95 Rodeo 2WD LSD

I searched a bit for a thread on a limited slip diff. but didn't find anything. I would think people would want these things. Anyways, which LSD (clutch type) will fit in my girlfriends '95 (July 1995) 3.2l V6 automatic rear diff? I have installed an LSD rear diff in my V6 2000 Mustang myself, it cost me $200 for the whole carrier unit, and $75 for the install kit (carrier bearings, pinion bearings, crush sleeve, carrier shims, pinion shims, gear marking compound, ring gear bolts and thread lock). I only changed the carrier bearings and ring gear bolts, the back leash was perfect. The only thing I have heard is that they are Dana units for the Rodeos. Thanks for any help. :)

I too have a 3.2L 4x2 Automatic; yes it does have a Dana 44 rear-end.

Honestly, put a good set of all-terrain tires on there, i.e. Bridgestone Revo's (GREAT traction in all weather) or Yokohama Geolander A/T II's and it'll do just fine.

I have well over 40k miles of what should have been 4x4 useage on this 4x2 Rodeo, and have never gotten stuck - we're talking deep, deep snow, mud, sand, clay, and ice.

Yes, an LSD or 4x4 would be "peace of mind", but after 9yrs of owning and driving this truck in heavy winters, mountainous terrain, etc, I don't feel ashamed to say that it's a 4x2 and I have a lot of trust in it.

Dana 44 in the rear, huh? I only have the Dana 35 in my Wrangler... Hmmm.

Yeap, Dana 44 - that's one reason why I like it.
