I don't know how they gonna do that. There is a big rear strut bar in the trunk area of the 350Z coupe now. The position is right at the spot where the soft top would be when it is folded down.

Also, if the coupe is 3200-3300 lbs, how heavy is the convertible gonna be? 3400-3500lbs? They can't just cut the top like what they do to Mustang convertible........... If thats the case, the handling will be like crap.

0-60 for the coupe is 5.4 seconds. I hope the 0-60 for the convertible would be 5.6-7 or so.

Ok it wont be that hard!

If you look at these pics the rear strut bar, the space behind the seats is more than enough room for a folddown soft top, and the bar is also lower than the rear view but i think they will shorten it a little....I dont see a problem at all!
