1999 z24 auto tranny needs help

1999 z24 my wife was shopping and call me the auto trannywill not go in any gear you can but it in anygear and it will not go is there a auto tranny sensor. the tranny never slipped or give us trouble . need all the help i can get thanks

so no matter what you do with the shifter, it stays in park???? if thats your problem, then a new shift cable is your solution

hi you can put it in all the gears but it does not go but if you hold the brake and go under the hood you can pull the cable and get it in agear and you can drive it . thanks

that still sounds like a shift cable problem

nope not hard thats not bad at all ALOT better than replacing the tranny
