Hi,
I have a 84 Maxima, that I drove all winter with little problems. only problem was it was hard to start when warm. Now that it has warmed up it starts fine when cold but dies when it tries to idle down. Won't run, turns over and fires but dies. I have changed MAF, temp sensor (engine one), O2, auxillar air valve (idle regulator), hmmm, what else???? Still no help.
Any ideas?:banghead:

Minuscle air leak kills idle: lots cracked hoses, maybe intake gasket leaking.
Verify good spark (get new cap, rotor, wires, plugs), fuel pressure.
Do ALL connectors, relay cleanup. Correct Cam Pos -signal grounding (see pages 10 &14 below)
