I'm having a problem, when I start the truck up at cold but when it finally warm up and I step on the gas to 3000 RPM and when it did it will rev. back to 1000 RPM with code 52 which I know but they told me, that code doesn't effect the truck that it rev. when it reach at certain RPM and when its cold it will run fine at any RPM only when it is warm only so I did replace ECM, still diong same situation but everytime I turn off the truck and start it right back up eveything will run fine only if I just don't let it run through 3,000 RPM, so is it have to do with the sensor that is locate behind the engine were the wire harness connect to? there are two sensor, which one should I bother to replace? 1992 3.0 V6..

Take the truck to a competent mechanic. Why would you waste your money and time throwing parts at the problem when you don't know how to fix it? Take it to someone who has dedicated their life to fixing cars.

If you want to repair the truck yourself, first fix the DTC 52. This is a bad knock sensor signal - probably a bad wire from the harness to one of the knock sensors. The sensors themselves don't normally go bad.
There are two sensors, both in the middle of the two cylinder heads. You will have to take off the intake to get to them to replace the wire. Replace both wires since it is a cheap fix and you don't know which one is bad.
While you're there, test the sensors by testing for continuity between the contact and the sensor body. There should be no continuity between the contact and the sensor body. Replace the sensor if this is the case.
Normally, the wires are damaged when the heads are removed and this is the most likely cause of this DTC.

I already got the knock sensor and the wire to it so I'm about to do this myself but you know the wire that goes to the knock sensor is diffrent from the one it is in so I don't know if this was the replacement for it but I'm just waiting for the visegrip to hold the two cams inplace so I can easily do the job but only problem is that I only can find is the dohc visegrib so I am looking for the sohc visegrib but do you know any sohc visegrib I can get it from? if I were to replace the wire to the knock sensor do I still have to remove the inner intake? and yet I have a blown head gasket... cylinder #1 has coolant leaking into but trying K&W HG repair with nano to see if any help but they told me it is best to replace it but anyway I might just as well replace the HG when I'm already half way into it.
Do anyone know what tools I need to replace head gasket? torque wrench, valve adjusting, etc? thanks in advance.
