Ball joint for 99 Silverado

I need a lower ball joint for my 4X4 1500 Silverado and have the chance to pick up a new GM one locally but I'm not sure if it's for a 2wd or 4wd,is there a difference?It would stand to reason that there is but.......

Very different. The 2wd is pressed in where as the 4wd drive ball joint is rivoted. The 4wd ball joint will have 4 bolt holes where it is bolted to the lower control arm.
