Stalling problem

Ok, 2001 Jetta 1.8T. It's throwing the codes for the MAF(low input/sprruratic), Bank1 Catalyst below flow threshhold, and 4 misfires. The EPC light also illuminates occasionally for no reason. The car dies when sitting in traffic when the a/c is on, but its not over heating. The MAF has been replaced, new plugs, and a new bettery and the problems still persist. 3 dealers have not been able to solve the problem. Any ideas?

i have had similar problems.... i actually just took my car in to have them run a 3 hour diagnostic test and said it was a faulty instrument cluster....

Well if you ever figure it out you will be a Super Hero because I have the EXACT same problem. I will add one more piece "sometimes" the battery goes dead after the problem pops up. I can run 8-10 days all ok and then it stalls once or twice and it is fine for another 8-10 days. I just only wish the car smelled like Jack Daniels instead of Cayola Crayons.. well... here is my long list of symptoms
stalls sometimes when im at a stop sign.. car will be completely dead but i can always restart it..
stalls sometimes when im at a stop sign.. car will restart itself...
radio will shut off when my automatic door locks (when i reach a certain speed)
sometimes when it stalls, it seems like my battery was disconnected cause my clock and my radio stations resets itself
sometimes it takes a few tries to start my car... this only happens occasionally.... not as much as the stop sign stalling..
at night, when i turn on my lights... i feel like its pulling too much from the battery.. my lights will flicker when i turn any signals on, emergency light or even pull down the front seat mirrori do notice that all this happens when i have my AC, lights and radio on... when i dont turn my radio on... i havent had a problem yet... but then again, these symptoms are sporatic.
already had my alternator changed ($600).. now i have to get this faulty piece of crap changed which is going to cost me ($1,000).... last repair i make.... ill keep everyone posted once i get my car fixed (which probably wont be for another month or so....
