99 Land Cruiser O2 Sensor ??

I am getting the DTC of 0155 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 2 Sensor 1.
Do I just need to replace this one O2 sensor? Is the "heater" portion just part of the sensor?
Also.. How can I identify the location of this perticular sensor??

Thanks
TJ

Welcome to the AF!

The DTC only tells you that the ECM is not getting the expected result from the HO2 sensor. It may be in the wiring harness circuit or it may be in the sensor. The heater is part of the sensor. You can test the heater circuit within the sensor by measuring the resistance with an ohmmeter.

The most likely problem is a bad sensor. If it is the sensor, replacing it will solve the problem. The bank 2 sensors are on the driver side of the engine (in a longitudinal engine) or on the front of the engine in a transverse mounted engine.

Sensor 1 is the front sensor nearest the head. Sensor 2 is after the cat. converter.

Make sure you get the correct part number for the sensor by bringing your VIN to the Toyota parts department and getting the part number from them.
