When Im done driving my caprice around (basically once my LG4 bites the big one, but not anytimesoon) My plan was to pull a 350(carb one) out of a truck, camaro or something, and build it up then drop it in my caprce
But will it be able to bolt right in, and what kind of bolt main do I have now?
And can my Thm700r4 trans take a 350, thats maybe pushing 250(the 350 is pushing 250 not my LG4 XD)?
But will it be able to bolt right in, and what kind of bolt main do I have now?

So I just need a 2 bolt main 350. Nice
How do you tell the dif between 2, and 4 bolt mains?

You don't without removing the pan, and it doesn't matter. 2 bolt or 4 bolt.
The 2-bolt or 4-bolt references the amount of bolts that hold the middle 3 main bearing caps onto the engine. Factory 4-bolt blocks, contrary to popular opinion, are not significantly stronger than 2-bolt blocks, and in some cases can actually be weaker.
