Door Lock Timer

I'm the second owner of a 1991 maxima se and since I bought it the power lock didn't work. I have found that the previous owner made a mess in the electrical accessories of this car. I have the chilton's manual for this car but it doesn't says where physically the door lock timer is. I know that in the nissan laurel it is located under the passenger seat, but in my Max' it isn't in the same place. I need to know where it is in order to locate the power lock failure. If Someone Knows or had experienced problems please tell me.
