Cant seem to get keen at building another at the moment ...seem to have so many other things on the go at present :( :( Getting my car ready for its first car show is taking up all my time at present :flash: :flash:

But been playing with this idea here though with a lowering job and new rims (pic below) or starting my Opel DTM.
Maybe i'll wait a few more days till my Tommy Kaira Subaru and other stuff arrive from HLJ ....mmmmmmmm

it could use a big, GT style wing!! That's my opinion, also those rims are a bit too bling bling for the celica, something more "sportish" would go better

LOL old timer ;) :flipa: J/K

Bling bling basically means big 19-22" rims that are all chrome or all gold and lots of excess metal, like these, it came from American Rap in which the rappers try to display their wealth by how shiny their jewelry and cars are:

Go for the Celica. I think you must try a less flashy rims. I got the same Celica and planing to install the Aoshima Blitz BRW-03 rims.
I think that with its matte center those wheels make the car look more racer and less rapper.

My brother got that Celica and was planning n making the Hotchkis and Pro-celebrity one "combined." I actually agree with the other guys about ur rims, but if u really like it, go for it.

This one was taken today before going to the spray painters for the week to have rear quarters/bumper/boot/spoiler and both back guards painted and a few small dents taken out also

No major work yet...been spending most of the money on the outside.
Only has a 2 1/2 inch custom exhaust with aftermarket 3" muffler and a K&N filter.
A turbo is on the cards....but thats a long way off at present.

Celica? I recently got interested in that car.
What colour you gonna paint it?

I find red or yellow suit it.

Yo P-man... I'm startin that same project that celica, I just primed it and sanded it and I am gonna go paint it tonite! I personaly dont really like the rims you chose... I was gonna use the stock ones from my revell ITR and order new tires but i realized they look kinda small..... good luck on the project and post pics soon....

so i'm guessing you're going w/ the opel instead of the celica? I think the celica would be a cool project to finish after the opel. I agree w/ the others about the rims. I don't like import cars w/ big flashy rims. Save those for a mercedes or a escalade or something.....:finger:

Those rims would look alright on one of my VIP Cars! What model are they? I know they're made by Aoshima but the name escapes me at the moment...I have a Gloria that would look good with 'em.
