Engine swap with...

I heard a 3vzfe (v6 engine for camry) is a direct bolt on for the 94 celicas? Does anyone know if this true? And would i have to Get a new tranny, or would the stock tranny work with it? Thanks

well i know the camry tranny will bolt into the celicas engine bay but i dont know if the stock tranny is compatible, i would guess they are though. this swap has never been done to my knowlege and i think it would be a ghreat idea.

if your asking if a camry v6 engine will swap to a celica then yes, and yes it has been done. and yes the camry tranny will work, people usually use those on cleicas when they dothe 3sgte swap
