Are 4 more millimeters really worth $200+ to $300+ ?

But if i go any bigger I will lose torque and there is no one that will bore mine out in my city

So why not put the money towards something else that would give you way more Hp then a throttlebody? Couple hundred more and you could get a Zex dry shot of nitrous or as i recently learned a Cryo2 set up, which is safer then nitrous.

I love my 62mm tb. 56 is just pointless.

I was doing some searching and the just was that a 62mm throttle body on a stock car is not worth it becuase your going to lose a lot of torque. Also, that the biggest you should possibly go on a stock car is 58mm. The reason I'm not going with nitrous or that other stuff is becuase its my daily driver and if something happens I need my car.

know first hand that the 62mm tb makes a world of difference on a stock engine. Bitch is sucking in so much air that I let off the gas in mid shift it sounds like a damn blow off valve.

Who knows though. It could be different between the cavy engines but all I know is my ecotec loves the damn thing.

Ya, I'm not too sure. Did you lose some low end torque cause I heard thats what happens to the 2.4L's. Cuase all I was doing was getting the TB and an Intake and full exhaust. Maybe, I'll look into a 58mm or something around there.

I lost a little but not enough to care. Be sure to check out ebay. I see great deals on tbs on there all the time.
