Does it matter what way the 1g cas goes into the cam? what i mean by this is you put the cas in the cam and done but you can take it back out rotate the end of the 1g cas 180 degrees and put it back in?
Now does this do anything? Im just haveing some problems getting my new engine to start. It spits and sputters a little while your cranking it over and thats about it. I am going back to my moms house tomarrow and try like 8 different things that i have gathered from people today and yestarday on the dsmlink forum.
Dsmlink is another big damn head ache for me right now also. Stupid command timed out keeps happening to me but that mgith come to a end and be fixed also tomarrow i hope!! Oh man do i really HOPE. All this money spent car back together and my brand new engine does not run yet :banghead:

There are markings on the part that rotates and on the body of the CAS. With the motot at #1 TDC those marks have to be lined up to put the CAS in phase. IIRC, there is a groove in one end of the part that rotates, and a dot on the body.
The command timed out problem is not related to DSMlink, but rather to the laptop, serial port conflicts, bad usb adapters, or user settings. Just want to be sure no one reads this as it being something wrong with DSMlink ;)

Oh no sorry if i put anyone in the wrong direction here about DSMLINK. ITs NOT!! DSMLINK that im haveing problems with its something to do with a few different things maybe like kevin said. I should have explained myself a little better there.
I do not believe its my usb adapter, alot of users are using the one i got that i see on dsmlink forum. I think its my laptop settings or something.
