Are you talking about the stupid ass Lancer that is like 125hp? or the Lancer EVO VII? The EVO doesnt come out till january and is 230 horse turbo sedan.
The other base model lancer sucks ass.

I have had a few rev on me not knowing what was under the hood. They soon learned the hard way. However when the EVO VII comes over here I am not going to mess with them because they will rip my car apart..hehehe;)

the lancers they have here suck ass. When the EVO comes out it will be sweet, but for now those things are buckets. They look nice though.

The new Lancers look good but the performance is way to shitty to spend the money on it.

Yup. There is a guy up at the college that drives one. He thought that my car was all show. But he didn't have any indea of what I have under the hood. I pulled on him from the start and as soon as VTEC kicked in I blew past him like he was standing still.

Yeh i raced my friends lancer but it wasn't really worth to race him. Oh the New Evo suppose to come out in Jan? Shit i'm gonna fuck with those! Why you guys make them sound so fast? First they are heavy , second its basically a mirage with 95-99 eclipse motor. Thats what i've been told.

A stock jdm Lancer EVO ran in the 13s from what i remember in an old SCC from November. Wheelspin is minimal for instant traction of the line. And it's safe to say not many that would get a LanEVO would leave it stock. I've watched moddified S13s get left behind by LanEVOs. I wouldn't feel too confident facing a LanEVO or WRX.

Okay, something you guys gotta remember is that we only get the watered-down versions of these cars due to smog requirements. So, if you saw a lancer EVO in SCC, it was probably the true JDM version. Also, all those HP specs are exaggerated coming from the manufacturers. I'd be willing to bet that if you bought a new EVO and threw it on the dyno, it'd rate far below it's factory specs.

Yeh i was gonna say that. From what i heard it has the second gen eclipse motor in it. So it shouldn't be a problem racing them when they're stock.

I will admit that it was a jdm Lancer EVO that I was referring to. It's just that I've seen those things in action from japanese videos and they're tough. Not impossible or invincible. Every car has something that can be taken advantage of. I'm just saying unless I had serious modifications and $$ invested in my civic I wouldn't feel too confident.
