Headlight Issue

This one has me stumped.

When the car is not running and parked, when I hit the Door Lock button on the remote, the headlights dont come on, but they pop up for a second, then go back down, and the driver side makes a nasty grinding sound. Im sure that the grind is a gear on its way out, but whats making them "auto-pop" like that? Is it just trying to tell me theres a gear problem? Also, they pop up when I turn on the parking lights, which never used to happen.

I thought they all did that?. Everyone I have seen with a remote has done the headlight thing. Although maybe its a setting you can change. I would check the owners manual.

i was going crazy with that too and it makes no sense as to why but all i can say is that i replaced the headlight that was making that horrible noise and now everything is beautiful

by the way i dont know how much trust u have on ebay but u can get refurbished motors on there for real cheap
