I have a clicking noise coming from behind the instriment cluster when the car is running. It is about every 5 seconds. Any ideas on what should I look at to resolve this?

Does your trip odometer work? Try resetting it to 000

Man, can't believe I didn't think to look at that.. it is the trip odometer.. it sits so low that the steering wheel was blocking it from my vision.. it seems to not be functioning too well.. the tenths wheel moves to the 000.9 position and then locks up :-( however I have managed to hit the reset button to the point where the trip OD is not moving at all now, so at least the clicking has gone away :-)

Thanks Old Lar
