Whos seen tokyo drift?

I just saw it and it revived my faith in the series. It had a good story and there wasnt any gay car jumps or flips or stupid crap like that. It seems to be right on target. The stang with a rb26 was kind or cool but the fart can was just gay. The ending was pretty cool too, opened the door for another sequil

I thought it was terrible. At the beginning they race through a developing suburb area and Brad Taylor hits a huge cement part of a pipeline and doesnt get split in half but only has a few cuts and scrapes. Then the kid gets shipped to Japan because he gets in trouble too much with cars, retarded. And pretty much the whole plot of the rest of the movie was boring and far fetched. It was hard to pay attention to the movie at all besides some of the drifting scenes which were mostly interesting. All in all i'd give it a C- and wouldnt reccomend seeing it i feel like i wasted money by going.

Did Vin Diesal make an appearance in the movie? Because i seen this one comercial for it, but I only seen it once. It showed Vinny for like 2 seconds. Or I think it was him anyway.

the movie was pretty damn good best of the 3 for sure. they had real cars in this one and used drift drivers for all the scenes and it was an actuall movie not no blue screen backround shit. i read a giant review about all the cars and stuff the 350z was twin turbo and put down 450 to the wheels they actually built that mustang with the skyline motor in it and all that good very well thought out.

and if you didnt like it get rid of your import and buy a cavalier cause it definelty represents this time around

I just saw it. I thought it was alright. Pretty gay in a few parts, but I thought represented the Drifting scene fairly well.

The cars were awesome but the acting was over the top. Anyone who wasnt popping a boner over the cars and the drifting maneuvers would have an easy time tearing into the actors and the plot. Thats their opinion on it though

I decided to focus mostly on the point of the movie and not try and tear it apart, because that can be done with most movies, espically one on a particular topic that the viewer is knowledgable with

I thought the movie was pretty sweet...they should have kept paul walker in it though, dont like bow wow at all.

At the end the mustang looked nice as hell...old school with some tuner rims, pretty sweet...But, that fart can looked real, real dumb on it.

Over all I rate it 4 outa 5 stars...not the type of movie you are supposed to analyze, just watch for enjoyment.

i thought it was funny that it didnt even beat cars on its openignigt weekend, cars is an animated car movie ahahhahaha

I dont think those car is "ricer", since you dint watch a movie yet. Over all the movie is pretty good, the only thing fuck is , they put a nissan engine into american muscle car and drift( Im not again it , just never though about it ). BTW their a women in the theater cry cause one of the guy die ( the asian dude try to save his freind, from a car chase, and got flip couple time and the car blew spoiler :naughty: ). that asian guy pretty cool, let the guy borrow his car even though, this is the first time he meet him, and wreck it, and not get mad, and even give him a evo for drift, and let him drive his rx-7 the whole time. man !! I think they gonna make another movie with vin disel ( spell ),in it since he show up at the end.:frown:

sorry for double post, did any body watch the new tv show ( fast inc ) or something like that, they try to find a drift car for a magizine cover, and the guy go around the city give away fly, at the end their about 5 ( old ) nissan show up, the guy told those kid that, drift the car around the parking lot, and 2 kid hit each other :grinyes: . bumper was fuck up, I was laughing my ass off when I saw it. bow wow show up at the end !! gay !!.

I just saw it tonight, and I think it was alot better than the previous two. This one had alot of action scenes in it, some nice ass REAL cars (not ralliart lancers made to be evos, not 420a's meant to be gsx's), and some hot ass Japanese girls! It had a decent story too, even though the main character has a dumb "cowboy" accent.

EDIT: I give it 2 thumbs up. This one actually focused on performance, instead of BOV's and neons lol....sorry Thor hehe.

I just got back from seeing it, I thought it was a bad ass movie. The acting was atleast acceptable and the plotline actually made sense. I thought it was pretty far fetched to just ship him to Japan and for his dad to just hand over the Stang, but all in all, I thought it was a great movie.

I just got back from seeing it with the girl and I really liked it. It wasn't too ricey or anything. Lots of driving, good story, lots of driving, oh, and did i mention lots of driving. The wife liked it alot too.

I don't see why they took that inline 6 from the smashed car and dropped it into the muslce at the end. Yeah, they had it and they didn't have much time, but comeon. I would've overnighted a 450 supercharged. Eh, it would probably have too much torque for drifting anyways.

Ok guy bad new, yesterday morning I went to the bank, I heard really loud tire sqeak, I turn around their is a old 240sx with big wing ( you know those f & f aluminum wing ), try to drift on a turn red light :disappoin. But I think I heard the bov, so I let it go.

I think so too though, cause lancer awd already made for drifting, the movie company alway go cheap, they aint spend more money to make it rwd.

Check out last month's Sport Compact Car magazine. They featured all the cars from the movie and dyno test/track tested all of them. The Evo WAS converted to rwd, and because of that, the numbers it showed when they tested it sucked. The Evo was meant to have the awd. Search online, too, it was rwd. I think Ryes Millen (sp?), the D1 Drift pro converted it.

Yeah, that sounds right. It was in fact RWD and RMR made the kit. Its a ghetto way to convert to RWD though, IIRC its a fancy version of taking out the front driveaxles and putting plugs in their holes. Definately not a good way to do it. I say that if you want a RWD car, turn the engine 90* and run a mighty max tranny or whatever.

I just saw the movie and I have to say that you guys hyped it up so much that when I went to see it I expected to be in awww the whole time but over all, not bad. Vin Diesal sucked, why did they even bother putting him in the movie? I liked Hohns, too bad what happens to him. Those were some badass drift scenes, especially when they are driving through an area that looks like Time Square and everyone moves to make a trail at the last second. I love the hell out of the Mustang at the end, I had a feeling that that car was going to get destroyed like the Charger in The Fast and The Furious. Overall I give the movie a 8 out of a possible 10.

O and duh the Evo was only a RWD, look at the scene where he's doing a burnout after he beats that... Nissan I think, only the rear wheels were ripping it up.
