Tune-Up

I need a tune-up and I was wondering what I should replace and what should I pay for 1. A mechanoc told me 200+ because the plugs are under the engine, is this a good price?

It sounds okay, but you can do the plugs yourself, they go in horiziontally to the head, are and in between the bends of the exhuast manifold.

If you can get the car in the air, and undersome jackstands, it should be a lot easier to do the plugs.

You can replace the cap and rotor, but that shouldnt be bad.

For me a tune up, is New wires, Plugs, Fuel filter, Air filter(if needed) check all your fluids to, like coolant, powersteering, etc... just keep up on all your regular maintenece and you should have a good long lasting car :)

If you have some extra brain power to spare, and buddy or dad who knows there way around cars, you 2 should be able to do this in a afternoon with no problems.
