I would definatley ask if the O2 sensors are working properly. There are many people having problems with the rear ones and there was a TSB dealing with reprograming the ECM.

I have owned a 2002 Pathy for little over a year with no major problems at all. The only thing that went wrong with mine was the intake timing senors/ solinoids, which is a common problem with all 3.5L Pathys. The 01-04 Pathys are the best in my opion, they still look good got the 3.5L, and if you can find one the 01 and 02s had a very rare 5spd manual tranny option. 5spd Pathys rock http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g145/axelpkt/faces/1.gif

Nice, how's the mileage of 2002 Pathy? Probably way better than in my 4runner :)

From what ive heard from others, Nissan auto trannies arent the greatest. The one thing you have to make sure you get a good tranny cooler and make sure its doesnt all clogged up.
