:banghead: I have a 91 civic hatch i put a dohc zc in and it doesnt want to start...
it is not geting spark but I can manualy ground the ignitor and make it spark. I am getting injector pulse, I am getting fuel, I have purchased 2 ecu's thinking I have a bad one and still the same outcome... no spark! can any one help me?

Was your car dpfi or mpfi already? Did you wire in the crank position sensor on the exhaust cam side of the valve cover?

i did the same thing but tried the full si interior harness swap. never really worked so i sold it. but answer the dpfi to mpfi question and we will go from there

The problem with that, is that all the years and trim levels use different harnesses and pin locations. It will never work without extensive rewiring...even more wiring than just doing the mpfi in the first place....lol.
for example...you can't just plug in a 91 si harness into an 91 dx...wires will be in different locations....it's even worse if you try to plug in a harness not of the same year like a 91 harness into an 88 car...yikes!!!
It's just a complete mess.

Yeah I found that crap out..91 DX, tried to put an SI harness in, everything was different..the ac had plugs that didnt exsist and the big problem came when I got to trying to connect the interior harness to the rear harness...oh boy..

yeah it pluged strait in and the rear lights worked and the brakes worked to. at the point were i gave up i was begining to think it was a mpfi swaped dx harness. so i sold it like that on ebay. as is
