It is on lower right front of engine.
BUT
Codes do not say replace sensor. They say check it out. You need to get a repair flow chart for that code and go threw it.
It may be wiring or ign or VCM.
What code no are you getting?
First step is to clear code and see if it or any other codes return.
Also will the engine start and run?

the truck cranks and runs, is driven everyday.
it pops and spits when trying to crank it, am tuning it up this weekend, and i already cleared the code with my code scanner, ill check it again after i tune it up and see if it has anymore codes set, if it does should i replace the crank sensor, i don't know anything about the flow chart thing you were talking about, thanks for the help anyway

We would need to know the code no first.
To be able to help.
But codes do not say replace the sensor.
The code repair flow charts can be found here.
24.95$ but a lot cheaper and faster fix than throwing parts at it.

Or a good epair sevice manual.
