Hey guys. I've heard a lot of you mention the "Nelson Tune". How can I get more info about it.

He can send you a reprogrammed PCM module (or chip, if you will) that can give you a custom tune for your truck. wheteher you want more MPG, more power, firmer shifts, etc. You send him your old one after you receive yours. He can also adjust for larger tires, etc etc. It comes with lifetime of adjustments. You just tell him what kind of adjustments etc and he can program it, and send it out to you....
It is basically a plug and play kind of mod. I have heard of people getting 3 or more MPG in fuel economy after getting a tune. It is on my list of "things to do".

Have you heard weather or not if you opt for the economy type tune, do you loose power?

No. Shift points, fuel pressure curves, etc are changed but when you need power it is there. You even get more power while gaining in MPG economy I am told.

On my '01 Silv I gained almost 2 and when my dad drove it he got 3 out of it. I gained the power and the gain in driveability is worth the tune.....
