First model...

My lil homie just started his first model and he is almost done with it. He is 13 years old and I think he did a pretty good job for a rookie. :flash: He built a blue 39 chevy Lowrider. He still needs to glue on the bumpers, grill, and the handle for the trunk. He liked the way my models looked so I got him hooked. Then he saw all of the models in the gallery and he nearly wet his pants :spit: Now he is hooked and his next model is the Chevy Extreme.

I forgot to mention the only thing he really messed up on was painting the window trim. The masking tape I have is any good for detailing. So Tamiya Tape is on my Must Have List.

:) Hey spooksdawg, good to see someone else who has a son doing models as well. My son is 12 and so far has finished 3 models.Tamiya WRC Subaru, Porsche 911 and Subaru WRX STi [sorry no pics as yet] I usually spray paint them and let him do the rest.
Only problem is buying 2 models at a time.
