Valve cover Grommets???? what are they for?

I'm replacing my Valve cover gasket and I got these 8 small gasket that look like Rolo's (the chocolate candy).. where do i use these??

Are you serious? Those are valve stem seals, they dont go in the spark plug holes.

take a pic of what you're talking about. I think me and Thor are talking about two different things ;)

I agree with crunch, they go around the spark plug holes, but if memory serves me correctly, aren't there only 4?

yes they are only 4, i just looked 5 minutes ago because i'm putting my new head in.

Yeah, I agree, we are a little confused as to what you are talking about. The spark plug hole seals I got were not shaped like rolos, they were flat circles that had tabs on one side with a big hole for the spark plug to go through and little ones in the tabs for the bolt to go through and you should only have 4. The rolo size and shape things are valve stem seals, but you should have gotten 16. I dont know, maybe 7 bolts are different than 6 bolts?
