hi guys, my cousin wants to sell me a pearl white 93' civic dx automatic. body is clean except for lower lip on front bumper, its broken but still hanging on. nice lil' custom rims no big deal 182,000 miles and everything is stock. what do you guys think about the price? checked it out on kbb and it said 2,500 was about right, but i wanna know what you guys think?

i just went to test drive it and it drives ok, tired are a lil' wasted, it has the a/c taken out, the front bumper it craked from the bottom, it has a cheap paint job as well, so with these things in mind what do you guys think about the price? what would be a good price?thanx

Sounds like it may only be worth about 1 grand. A cheap paint job is usually a good sign that the owner is trying to hide something. How did the lip get cracked, was the car in an accident? You should look a little more into it for us. Was the paint a spayover of the original color or was it changed, is the interior clean, does the engine have any small sounds that seem out of place?

yeah, watch out. I bought mine from a co-worker that i thought I could trust. I figured out that he re-painted it, and swapped a d15y7 or maybe d15b7. one or the other into it and it is an ex. changed the cluster guage to a DX cluster guage and cut the cat off. A bunch of stuff. for sometime I thought he stole it and vinned it out.

Don't always trust people a lot of them are greedy.
