Sure there's an answer. If you think of sound, as the vibration of air molecules, then that tree would sure ass hell make a sound. But if you think of sound as the PERCEPTION of those vibrating air molecules, then no, no sound.

Well I say it does and prove me wrong.... Say you are deaf and some one is talking to you does that mean that no noise is coming out of the persons mouth... From the deaf person point of view... As for the freudian symbolism, I believe that the tree would represent sexual energy, and the falling would be a lack there-of. (Think of the male member) Freud would wonder if that "tree" fell, since reproduction would be virutually impossible, would that person whose "tree" is dysfunctional, be able to make a name for his family since he would be the last member!!!! :rolleyes:

Anyhoo... In a physical science manner, the vibration caused by the tree hitting the ground would be inevitable. Whether or not vibration is considered sound depends on the interpreter... Even the deaf can feel vibrations!!!! :hehe:

You really should see one of them. In one of them, the actor playing a gorilla quit half-way through the movie and broke the gorilla mask in half. So instead of buying a new gorilla head, they used a scuba helmet. So in half of the movie they have a gorilla with a scuba helmet.

And in another one of them, one of the actors died like 3 quarters through the movie. So the guy they hired to act him for the rest of the movie just wore a sheet over his head for the rest of the movie.

I saw FnF again last night... but that's not a "good" movie.

Chocolat was incredible! Excellent portrayal of parts.

FnF was alot better than i thought it would be. I never saw Chocolat. But I've heard it was good.
