And why can't I ever get an attractive guy to be attracted to me in that way? Yes, I know... Looks aren't everything... But you can't admit that you don't always watch a very attractive couple more than you do two mediocre people... and heck, why not have atleast one of the two people be nice-looking???
Gosh... I mean, I have three guys who are all living atleast 400+ miles away from me who pretty much have made it clear that the either want to get back together with me, or try getting together with me (depending upon previous relations). Two of the three I very very much care about, and the other one I know I only want as a friend. But neither of those 2 for whom I care VERY deeply can I truly be with due to the distance. Then there is my neighbor who is not attractive to me as anything but a friend who has decided to pick me as his latest crush... Sure, he'd be very nice to me and treat me well, but he's on a one-way track to nowheresville and I don't think that I could "learn" to see him as anything more than a friend.
Then there are my petty little crushes... Gosh, one crush is my MEGA-crush. He's sooooooo adorable. He lives about 2 mins from my house, and I met him when I started riding my motorcycle. We go on fairly frequent rides together, and did I mention that he's fine??? :p I met his dad (and doggy) the second time I ever went over to his house. Since then I've also met his mom and little sister. But he seems to be a bit weirded-out when I try to crack jokes about things... example: (online via AIM) He said some girl who looks just like me found him on "HotorNot" and sent him some message. It wasn't me, and I definately made sure I convinced him of it... but as a joke (since the air was a bit tense) I said "but if you liked what you saw, I can pretend to be some random girl :p" and he pretty much flat-out told me I was a freak. :o I told him it was meant to be a harmless joke, but since then things have been kinda weird...
The other crush is another motorcycle rider. He's cute (not like #1 but cute all the same). But he kinda lives about 2 hours away in Ohio. That, and I haven't spent as much time talking to him, so I don't know what exactly is going on there. Both of these 2 guys know eachother and ride together... but as the girl of the group I feel like I get left out of a lot of stuff. I always feel like the tagalong and I almost feel entirely unwelcome just because I also like cars and I'm willing to be vocal about it. :o
I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE!!! And that is why I can't sleep at 3am on a Saturday morning when I have to be at work in 8 hours. [/end rant]

:D :D :D :D He let me touch him today! :D :D :D :D
We went to this sweet race track, and I got to help him put on suntan lotion!!! And then I went back with him to his house and played on his computer with the digital pics we took. And it was sooooo cool. I was being real quiet today, and he would be up walking with this other guy we went up with, and he'd look back, tease me about wearing my bike boots with shorts and a tank (I forgot sandals :o) and smile, and then turn back. :D He's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i know how you feel. It'll get better. I just had the worst two weeks of my life. luckily for me, the person who has saved me and made me happy (finally) was someone i would have never expected. :D I'm as happy as a little school girl. Hopefully this time it won't fade. I wish all the best to you. good luck with this guy.

Well, since my latest issue is concerning human beings with penises, I'll revive this thread...
Update on the old issue (not very important): The MEGA crush turned out to be a fairly sizable asshole. I had the final straw when I went to a "keg party" at his apartment and in casual talk he was complaining about the 'fat girls' he had for neighbors... He then said that he didn't think any girls over 140lbs should be allowed to his parties b/c fat girls drink too much of the beer. Weighing in at 142lbs myself, I gave him shit, and threatened to leave. I wish I had. What a pig. :mad:
The other biker crush panned out to be ice-cold, and it died a LONG time ago.
The nowheresville neighbor: Well, this one had begun to fire up, but many other issues leave me not feeling comfortable around him. For example, his "flatmates" are all :smoker2: and they do it in my presence. Now, granted, I have tried it once, and I'm not morally opposed to it, but as an Education major, if you have ANY felony conviction you CANNOT be licensed to teach in my state, nor most others. This basically means I can't spend time around them without worrying that there will be a bust and I'll get caught up in it unwillingly. Thus I don't think anything can possibly work out with him in the long of it.
On to the new issue... I have a NEW motorcycle riding crush who has a BEAUTIFUL South African accent. He's tall, blonde, and sooooo handsome. Did I mention his accent? Bad part: he rooms with another one of my friends who has a g/f but has tried to get down my pants. :o He (roommate) didn't succeed, but I did spend a night in his room with him. Basically I know I can't win that battle w/o coming out in the red.
Then there is (yes, yet another) motorcycle riding FRIEND who just asked me out. I accepted (despite the neighbor boy) but the catch is that he's older than me. OLDER. Like 9 years. :eek: It's kinda freaking me out. He had a g/f but he says the relationship is pretty much dead as of now. It's just waiting to be ended. He wants a relationship with me, but we'll see if I can get over this age issue. It might just be that thing that comes along when you're not looking... I've asked some other mutual friends, but he's never said anything to any of them....
I just feel so weird. Sorry, had to vent to someone who can't rat me out for "leading people on".... :o
