i've tried the rubbing compound you use for car paints and they work excellent for me.

one thing kinda annoys me is the suspension thing on this model... the rear wheel wiggles around!!!!!!:banghead: should i just forget about the susupension and glue it?:screwy: p.s i already scartched off the extra paint around the bolts on the rims with the mighty toothpick! :grinyes: :feedback::feedback::feedback::feedback:

you took my advice very well! :)
you might wanna do some touching up on the edges of the wheels.

Well, that's basically what rubbing compound does. It scratches out the bigger scratches, if that makes sense, so toothpaste should work. Plus your kit will be minty fresh.

Nice job so far. The wheels are looking good.

Yea, exactly, it does the same as compound - it levels the paint out.

worked on body, bumpers, hood, spolier for the past two days, got them painted, there lil dust got on the paint but they are really small. i didnt get the CF decal so i used tamiya gun metal for the hood and spoiler, kind gives the feeling of CF and it shines as well(my best paint job so far for the second model):feedback::feedback::feedback::feedback::fee dback::feedback:

awsome work? did u use airbrush?

stairweitoheaven
06-26-2006, 09:27 AM
no air brush at all... btw heating the can with hot water really works! just make sure the model is sanded and washed so its "clean" and dust free.

Lilfazzl
