1995 Civic Ferio

Need ideas. I bought a 1/24 Hasegawa Civic Ferio and was wondering if anyone knows a nice body kit that would work on a car like this? I was thinking a Buddy Club body kit like the 3dr civic on tinyimports. What do u guys think? I started working on the rear bumper, and screwed it up with the Testors "gray" putty. I put an order for Tamiyas putty on HLJ and waiting for it. I'll get some pictures up soon of what I'm workin on.

You should try to scratch-build a body kit! If you can find Evergreen brand styrene strips at your local hobby store, you can build it! Or if you have any of Aoshima's VIP CAR kits, they have separate body kits that can be modified to be used however you want. good luck and post pics when you're done!

Hornyturtle, go and find some sheet styrene at a local hobby store and go to Walmart if you live in the U.S. Look for the stuff made from Bondo called spot putty (used in filling small pinholes and sanding imperfections after regular body filler is used on real cars) located in the automotive section. The stuff works extremely well and is cheap! The cost is about 5 U.S. dollars and lasts-it equals about 10 or more of those little Testor's CRAP putty that you bought. Testors putty is not very good. Tamiya is good, but not as easy to work like the Bondo stuff. YOU MUST USE PRIMER! But I must warn you the fumes from the putty are very STRONG! Read the directions.

I was actually planning on molding a kit, but do I really need those styrene sheets? How helpful r they?
