Got my Bored TB

Hey all;
I sent off my TB about a week ago to get bored at 55mm and powdercoated black chrome. I got it in yesterday and installed it today. I didn't have time to make any adjustments. The logger is reading TB at 10 or so at idle and 70 at WOT. I need to fix that when I have time. However, it runs great. There is better pickup. It does seem to go when you hit the gas. I haven't floored it yet, probably will when I goto work in a few, but just for quick acceralations and all, it seems great. Here's a pic.

On the car you can't even tell it was powdercoated... should've got chrome :-(

Cool, is it a big difference? And how big was the TB to start with? I was thinking about swapping my 54mm for a 60mm.

It was about 48mm stock I believe. Let us know how much it helped.

While driving tonight I would say there is a difference. I do need a new gasket though. Everytime I hit the gas, you can hear the pressure build up in the IM. And as the rpm gets higher, it's a higher whoosh sound. Sounds like a fake turbo. lol.

I'm going to try to fix the cable this week so I can get 0% at idle and 100% or close at WOT. Might try to find a new cable all together to swap out the cruise control with.

I would recommend this mod. I am pleased with it so far.
