Quick history:
'96 4.0L V6 auto.
Trying to pass emissions. Changed 2 O2 sensors, cat, portion of the exhaust pipe, DPFE and RERU (last two done at dealer - any help with acronyms appreciated!). Tried emissions, but CPU not ready. Reset or disconnect battery or wait several cold start cycles? Sorry for the lack of complete sentences. All help appreciated!!

I am a state emissions inspector and when I have a vehicle that is rejected due to too many unset readiness codes, I advise the customer to drive the vehicle about 50-100 miles and then return and normally that does it. The vehicle must go through necessary drive cycles to reset.

Thanks for the reply! That was the same advice given to my sister by the inspector.
