ABS Code Reading

Hi

I have an ABS light on in my '97 Jimmy, I want to read the fault code, will a basic OBD2 code reader intended for Engine Check light, also read ABS fault codes?

Probably not. It may, but a general reader will not usually read the ABS codes.
